This Privacy Policy explains how [PanMetro Convergence] (“PanMetro”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website (e.g., https://panmetroconvergence.com) and our Android/Android TV/set-top box apps (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.

1) Who we are & how to contact us

2) Scope

This Policy covers information we collect via our website, apps, player overlays, SDKs, cookies/trackers we control, and customer support. Third-party sites/services we link to have their own policies.

3) Information we collect

A. You provide – account/profile (name, email, phone, country), support messages/attachments, payments/KYC (if applicable; we do not store full card PAN/CVV), preferences (favorites, watchlist, language/genre).
B. Automatically – device/TV model, OS/app version, device identifiers (e.g., Android ID), IP address, timezone; crash/diagnostic logs; usage & playback telemetry (visited screens, buffering/bitrate/errors, EPG interactions, “continue watching” progress); approximate location from IP for availability/QoS/fraud.
C. From partners (where applicable) – login providers (as permitted), payment processors (transaction status/metadata), hosting/CDN/analytics telemetry needed to operate the Services.

Advertising IDs: Our Android TV app does not use advertising IDs or ad SDKs at this time. If that changes, we’ll update this Policy and provide in-app disclosure/controls.

4) How we use information

Provide the Services: account/login, streaming, EPG, recommendations, resume playback.
Operate & improve: performance monitoring, debugging, analytics, A/B testing, feature development.
Communications: service/transactional messages (e.g., subscription status, policy/terms updates, incident notices).
Safety & compliance: fraud/abuse prevention, legal/regulatory obligations, enforcing our Terms.
Consent-based features: where required (e.g., optional analytics), we rely on consent; otherwise, on contract, legitimate interests, or legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information.

5) App permissions (Android/TV)

We request only what’s needed for core features.

Typical: internet/network, wake/keep-alive, storage/cache for artwork/EPG.
Not used by default: CAMERA, MICROPHONE, READ_PHONE_STATE. If a future feature requires a sensitive permission, we will show a prominent in-app disclosure, request affirmative consent, and update this Policy and our Google Play disclosures.

6) Cookies & similar technologies (website)

We use necessary cookies/local storage for login, security, and preferences, and may use analytics cookies to improve the site. Where required, we display a cookie banner with a link to Cookie preferences so you can accept/reject non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies in your browser (some features may not work without them).

7) Sharing information

We share limited data with service providers who operate under contract and process data on our behalf for hosting/CDN, analytics, crash diagnostics, payments, email/SMS, and customer support. We may also share for business transfers (merger/acquisition) and for legal/safety reasons (to comply with law, prevent fraud/security incidents, protect rights). We may publish aggregated/de-identified insights that do not reasonably identify you.

8) Data residency & international transfers

We store and process personal data only in India and do not transfer personal data outside India.
If this changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide prominent notice and obtain consent.

9) Retention

Account data: while the account is active + 12–24 months for queries/compliance.
Playback/usage logs: 30–365 days (raw); aggregated statistics may be kept longer.
Support records: 24 months.
Payment/tax records: 5–8 years (as required by law).
When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it per our retention policy.

10) Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, withdraw consent, object/restrict, and port your data.

How to submit: email sandip@panmetroconvergence.com (subject: “Privacy Request”) or contact the Grievance Officer. We may request identity verification. We aim to respond within one month (India).
Manage preferences: use in-message unsubscribe or app settings for communications; toggle analytics/crash (if provided) in app Settings; adjust cookies via browser or our Cookie preferences.

11) Account & data deletion (via email request)

You can delete your account and associated personal data by email only:

Send an email to sandip@panmetroconvergence.com from your registered email address with the subject “Delete my account”.
If you can’t access your registered email, write to us and we will guide you through identity verification.

What happens next

We queue your account for deletion, log you out of active sessions, and remove profile data, viewing history, and saved preferences.
Backups and records required by law (e.g., tax/financial) are retained only as necessary, then purged.
We aim to complete deletion within 30 days (India: one month).
We’ll send a confirmation email once deletion is complete or explain if we need more information to verify the request.

12) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures: TLS in transit; encryption or segregation for key data at rest; least-privilege access; credential hashing; audit logging; backups; and regular reviews. No method is 100% secure—please use strong passwords and keep devices updated.

13) Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children (as defined by applicable law; in India, generally under 18). If you believe a child provided data to us, contact sandip@panmetroconvergence.com and we will take appropriate action.

14) Third-party links

Third-party sites/services we link to are governed by their own privacy practices.

15) India-specific notes (DPDP/IT Rules)

You may contact our Grievance Officer (Section 1).
We aim to resolve grievances within one month.
We follow principles of consent, purpose limitation, and data minimization as required by Indian law.

16) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice (e.g., email, in-app message, or banner) and update the “Last updated” date above.
